Read the words of a passionate apostle Paul to the church at Galatia. "I marvel that you are turning away so soon from Him who called you in the grace of Christ to a different gospel which is not another; but there are some who trouble you and want to pervert the gospel of Christ. But even if we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel to you than what we have preached to you, let him be accursed. As we have said before, so now I say again, if anyone preaches any other gospel to you than what you have received, let him be accursed. For do I now persuade men, or God?

I was recently struck afresh with inspiration as I read the 98th Psalm. "Oh sing to the Lord a new song! For He has done marvelous things; His right hand and His holy arm have gained Him the victory. The Lord has made known His salvation; his righteousness He has revealed in the sight of the nations. He has remembered His mercy and His faithfulness to the house of Israel. All the ends of the earth have seen the salvation of our God."

A friend mentioned to me that every day he feels even more tired than the day before. It seems that I hear similar comments from more people more often these days. Some where along the way people are buying into the idea that "the busier I am, the more spiritual I must be." Sometimes all of us need a reminder that nothing could be further from the truth.

The God of the universe is my God and He is good-in fact He is the only good this world has ever known.  Which is a good thing because through His Son Jesus he was the only one able to be a perfect sacrifice for my sins.  Hallelujah!  Behold the perfect lamb of God who took on the sins of the world!
