Hillcrest Fall Round-Up

Fall is nearly here which means everyone is finishing up vacations and coming back for school.  Fall also means it is time for the Hillcrest Fall Round-Up!

On Sunday, September 26th, there will be a special Western-themed service featuring the start of new sermon series!  Following the morning worship service will be a church-wide pot luck dinner and fellowship time.  Everyone is encouraged to attend the worship service and stay after for some delicious home cookin'!  Please bring a main dish and a side or dessert to share with everyone.  We hope to see ya'll there!

Over-50’s Group

The Over-50's Group is going to have a pot-luck dinner and fellowship time on Sunday, September 19th immediately following the morning worship service.  Anyone 50 or over is welcome to attend!

The Over-50's Group is a small group specifically for those 50 years of age and over.  This group meets regularly for fellowship and as an opportunity for people to connect with their peers.  There is always a lot of food and fun and the opportunity to make some great friendships!  If you are interested or would simply like to learn more about the group, please contact

Youth Event

Attention high schoolers and parents!

On Saturday, September 11th, Hillcrest will be joining with StoneCreekCommunityChurch and GraceCommunityChurch for a Youth Group Kick-Off Event at HarveyCountyEastLake from 6 to 9 pm.  There will be food, games, music, a chance for youth to reconnect with friends and a chance for parents to meet the pastors and volunteers who work with the ministry.  If you have any questions please contact Pastor Mitch (283-5035).

Skate Park Bible Study

A new Bible study is starting for youth at the NewtonSkatePark!  Youth are welcome to come out to the SkatePark each Wednesday at 7 pm for a Bible study with the skaters at the picnic table.  This study is youth led and will look at exploring the Word of God and how it applies to our lives.  The study will also give you a chance to reach out to those at the skate park that are interested in learning more about God!  See Pastor Mitch with any questions (283-5035).

New Service Schedule

Fall is coming up which means school is back in session, even here at Hillcrest!  Beginning Sunday, September 19th, we will be going to a new service schedule for Sunday mornings.  From 9:15 am to 10 am Sunday School classes will meet for children, youth, and adults.  Morning worship will be from 10:15 am to noon.  Make sure to mark your calendars!
